SHELTER is a family-run wholefoods cafe inside one of Apollo Bay’s oldest homes. We serve real food; organic, locally sourced, seasonal, sustainable. Free from seed oils, refined sugars or anything artificial. Everything is made in house.

Inside, SHELTER holds up to 40 people in a space that feels cosy, lived-in, and warmly lit, with antique charm woven into every corner. Outside, our frontyard and backyard holds an additional 90 people in a spacious garden framed by native trees and bountiful fruit trees. With picnic tables and shaded pockets perfect for rugs, laughter, and long afternoons.

At The Corner Sauna, we’re more than just a place to relax, we’re a community-centered wellness space dedicated to the healing power of sauna and cold therapy located at Shelter Cafe.

Ready to relax, recharge and experience the benefits of sauna and cold therapy? Each session is 1 hour long and includes access to our ice bath. We have 8 spots available per hour, so book early to secure your preferred time

✺ RELAX

The sauna is thoughtfully designed with a traditional wood-fired heater, 200kg of sauna stones, and rich cedar lining, creating a deeply inviting and warm atmosphere. Each booking includes access to a two-person ice bath set at 5°C.
